Hey there.  I hope that you are staying out of the heat and sun and in the cool shade.  I would like to ask all to pray for some rain and cooler temperatures.  In 21 days our pre-teenagers will be headed to camp and it would help their time at camp if the climate is cooler and there is water in the lake.  There is still time to get registered for camp.  Stop at the table in the foyer and sign up.  We will have one or two more fundraisers between now and camp, which is August 5-9, to help with raising the money for camp.  Please pray for camp and the weather.

This coming Sunday after church we are going to feed our children and youth and then we will car pool to Let’s Jump in Keller.  We have one hour reserved for us at Let’s Jump, 1pm to 2pm.  The cost is $6 per person and it will help us with food preparation if you sign up in the foyer first thing Sunday morning.  This is an opportunity for our children and youth to do something together and develop some camaraderie.  I encourage all parents to come along for a time of fellowship.

Please keep Allan Darnell in your prayers as he left yesterday on a mission trip to Brazil.  The group that he is with will be going into villages and towns conducting evangelistic services with the intent of starting churches.  They will have Brazilian believers with them and will work as teams to accomplish their mission goals.  They will also be handing out bibles to those who do not have them. Pray that many people will come to know the Lord and new churches will be started.

In closing let me encourage all of Life Church partners and committed attendees to remain faithful with your tithes and offerings.  Please keep this in mind and make it a matter of importance.
